The Florida Keys

The best fishing in the world is in the Florida Keys! Some of the best fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, swiming, and recreational boating in the world can be done in the azure waters of the Florida Keys. At Tropical Boat Rentals, we'll deliver your boat to you anywhere in the Keys, where you'll be able to use our well-equiped and powerful boats for just about anything you can imagine!

Below, you'll find some of the best ways enjoy a day (or more!) with one of our boats on your Florida Keys vacation...

Key Largo

If you're interested in snorkeling & diving, be sure to visit the John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park. This protected habitat is teeming with tropical life, and you can even see an authentic reconstruction of an early Spanish shipwreck.

Islamorada

Islamorada is famous for bonefishing and sailfishing tournaments, as well as plenty of other fishing for those more interested in catching dinner.

Marathon

Tropical Boat Rentals is based out of Marathon, and for good reason. Right in the middle of the Keys, Marathon is a great place to stay in order to see enjoy all that the Keys have to offer. There's also plenty of fishing to be done, and gorgeous sights to see -- both above and below the surface. Marathon is also home to Captain Dave Schugar of Sweet E'Nuf Charters, a seasoned Keys fisherman who can help you have the best fishing trip of your life!

The Lower Keys

The Lower Keys, between Marathon and Key West, are home to some amazing sights and activities. Because it's less frequented by tourists, the reef diving here is spectacular (particularly at the Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary), as are the sandy beaches in Bahia Honda State Park.

Key West

Key West is an ideal stop for anyone. Whether you're interested in SCUBA diving, snorkeling, fishing, boating, or just having a good time, it's tough to beat this final stop on the Overseas Highway. The wrecks and reefs surrounding Key West are home to hundreds of species of fish, and the on-island attractions are equally fun in their own right.
